Ilsington Country House Hotel on Dartmoor has recently opened the doors to its newly refurbished spa and pool area.
Devon-based Signature Pools & Leisure worked with Inbeca on the refurbishment project to provide a modern, state-of-the art spa facility, within a tranquil environment.
Keir Balouza, director at Signature Pools & Leisure explains: “We discussed various options with the client and after many meetings we decided it would be best for them to visit Inbeca in Barcelona to peruse the many different options available.
“Inbeca are market leaders for their bespoke wellness equipment and once our clients had the opportunity to see the options available to them, they were certain Signature Pools & Leisure would be able to provide them with the ‘wow’ factor that would be above and beyond all local competition.”
Inbeca supplied all of the key elements for the spa including:
• 4.5m x 3m mosaic tiled hydrotherapy spa pool with loungers, jets and water features.
• Pre-fabricated tiled steam room with 75 point starry night fibre optic lighting and speaker system.
• Finnish wooden sauna with hidden sauna stove.
• Hydrotherapy experience shower with wooden cold bucket and starry night fibre optic lighting.
Signature Pools & Leisure re-profiled the base of the swimming pool to bring it in-line with current health and safety recommendations. The services of Aquaflex were brought in to install an on-site lining system and Bayrol provided a PoolManager Pro system that was specified by Signature for the chemical auto dosing requirements. Barrisol installed a new white gloss stretch ceiling within the pool hall and a new, more efficient, Calorex unit was installed for the air handling.
