FROM COVER TO COVER

Lighthouse has all angles covered…

LIGHTHOUSE HAS PLEDGED to continue the development in its popular Coverstar options.

Over the last few years Lighthouse has been expanding its portfolio of pool covers to support the UK trade, now offering a carefully selected range of automatic covers to suit a variety of needs and end-user budgets.

“Following industry feedback, we decided that by expanding our cover offer,” explains Lighthouse Managing Director Daniel Phillips. “We not only design but make the covers in house at our factory in Plymouth, we knew that we could provide an excellent product with excellent lead times,” adds Dan.

Covers are a must-have item for any pool owner offering multiple energy and maintenance benefits alongside safety advantages. The HeatForm Tidal and Wave pool covers are high end, slatted cover systems engineered to the most exacting standard and designed with the highest quality components.

“We’ve been delighted with the response to the launch of the HeatForm cover systems,” echoes John Whiteside, Lighthouse’s Business Development Manager. “Going forward, we are looking to expand the range to cater for a wider audience, playing around with different designs and functions,”

Designed to be as attractive as it is playful and robust as it is reliable, The Heatform Wave is British by design and manufacture – coming straight out of the HeatForm production facility in Plymouth, Devon.

THE HEATFROM TIDAL is an unashamedly high-end piece of kit.

HOME MADE
The Wave was principally created to offer an entry level slatted cover system for customers looking for a flexible retrofit option which also incorporated an element of fun! The end housings have integrated LED RGB strip lights, with colour options to add some entertainment to a midnight swim, or to add some extra security to any early morning exercise sessions.

The roller system fixes quickly and easily onto the pool surround coping and each cover is custom made ensuring the best possible fit. Available in a range of coloured Polycarbonate, PVC or solar slats it is suited to pools with skimmers or infinity pools.

The Wave can either be driven from a transformer or by battery which is kept charged from a solar panel mounted on the side of the housing and opened and closed with a remote fob or key switch. The end housings are available in four, modern, neutral colours ; Anthracite, light grey, sand and white, to suit the latest design schemes. If required, The Wave roller system can be bought separately for use with bubble or foam covers.

PROVEN INVESTORS in people, Lighthouse rely on Phil Bean to provide Coverseal expertise to trade customers.

EXTRA LUXURY
The HeatForm Tidal covers are a range of in-ground, submerged covers which are elegantly designed and engineered to last; intended as a little extra luxury in the pool design.

Available in six installation configurations including a shallow water beach entry system with steps – unique to HeatForm – which is our most popular model – enabling somewhere to sit and dangle your feet on hot summers days whilst keeping the cover safely tucked away.

Other options include the deep-water bench, a simple submerged roller option and the discreet letterbox pit system hidden behind the pool walls. HeatForm Tidal covers offer high quality coloured PVC or Polycarbonate and solar slat options and are controlled by remote or key switch for ease of use.

The stainless-steel fittings and brackets are designed and built in the UK ensuring fast lead times and quality products which are guaranteed to last.

THE HEATFORM WAVE SYSTEM works with solar batteries, rather than hydraulics and electrics.

SELLING POINTS
A key selling point for the HeatForm Tidal covers is the in-roller motor system. Chosen for its longevity and proven track record following over 15 years in the field, the motor system used by HeatForm relies on nitrogen rather than resin to waterproof the mechanical components.

As the motor is fitted directly into the cover roller, there are no moving parts housed outside of the pool, ensuring minimum space requirements outside of the pool perimeter. The roller itself is immersed in the pool and supported by bracketry on both sides bolted to the pool structure.

Lighthouse are the UK’s trade importer and distributor for the unique pool safety cover system from Coverseal, which is designed and manufactured in Belgium. It is fast becoming the safety cover of choice in the UK. “It’s an unashamedly high-end piece of kit which not only looks super slick but which performs faultlessly,” comments Daniel.

This cover system is the ultimate offering in pool safety. The specially formulated material pulls tight across the surface of the water and locks into tracks either side of the pool. The look is undeniably modern, crisp and unfussy. There are no unslightly creases or folded material, no cover pump or hose required, no puddles of dirty water, just a smooth , flat, clean surface ensuring the pool is locked away, safe and free of debris until it’s time to be used.

Importantly, the patented Coverseal system is the only safety cover to work using solar and batteries, rather than hydraulics and electrics, making it an ideal hassle-free solution for pools perhaps at the end of a long garden by avoiding having to run down long power cables and hoses. The solar panels are positioned on the top of the housing, ensuring the battery is kept topped up and ready for use.

Fully customisable and suitable for all shaped pools, both the membrane and casings are available in a wide range of colours enabling the end user to choose a look which best suits their garden environment. Furthermore, the cover is available in three options, manual, semi automatic and automatic to cater for varying budgets.

All cover systems can be viewed at the Lighthouse Technical Training Centre in Witney where our Technical Sales Co-ordinator, Phil Bean, can offer inhouse installation training on the Coverseal system. Lighthouse are the only approved Coverseal supplier who can offer this service in the UK.
