Everyone Active has partnered with Southwark Council to manage its eight leisure centres for the next seven years.
From June, Everyone Active will run Camberwell Leisure Centre, Dulwich Leisure Centre, Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Sports Facility, Peckham Pulse Healthy Living Centre, Southwark Athletics Centre, Seven Islands Leisure Centre and Surrey Docks Watersports Centre, as well as the new Castle Centre.
£2.7 million of investment from Everyone Active into the popular centres will ensure top-class facilities for Southwark residents and local sports and leisure groups.
David Bibby, Managing Director at Everyone Active said: “This is a major sports and leisure contract in London, which we are delighted to have secured. We work hard to engage with local communities and encourage more people to be active and live a healthier lifestyle. Our focus is now on ensuring that we achieve that aim in Southwark and that we manage the centres to the highest possible standard in partnership with Southwark Council.”
