Making the most of differing ground heights, this natural pool by Milla features two small lakes placed on two levels that create a waterfall along the overflowing edge. The double-depth water level makes the pool suitable for both adults and children, while the plant room is cleverly disguised by elegant wooden decking to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the pool area. This pool was named winner in the ‘Commercial Outdoor Pool Smaller than 20m’ category and was designed and built by QC TermeMilano. The jury appreciated the technical systems and design used to place this pool in a one-of-a-kind environment, surrounded by ancient walls. This project saw a former ice rink transformed into a wellness centre with indoor and outdoor pools. The judges were impressed with the architectural solutions and systems used in the construction of the pool. A stand-out feature is the stonecoloured porcelain stoneware flooring that covers the pool both inside and outside and offers a pleasant sense of continuity. Category: Commercial Indoor Pool . Simplicity is a key feature of this outdoor pool, which won the Residential Outdoor Pool – Geometric Shape’ category. The judges felt that the pool had been cleverly situated to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, with the water creating a mirror effect to reflect the sky. This residential outdoor pool by Euwork takes full advantage of the sea views and natural height variations of the land, thanks to the overflow edge. The organic shape of the pool blends well with the scenic loaction and the colours and materials were carefully chosen to keep in line with the natural surroundings. Located in a prestigious area on the island of Sacca Sessola, in the Venice Lagoon, the jury appreciated the cutting-edge technologies used to create this stunning outdoor pool. Built by 3L Costruzioni ed Impianti, the bespoke swimming pool is technically complex, with clean lines and exquisite finishes.
