The Guncast Pools & Wellness team deliver on a luxury pool project…
This stunning outdoor swimming pool was recently completed by Guncast Pools & Wellness, for a gorgeous family home in the UK. Guncast was approached to create a contemporary and stylish outdoor swimming pool to be the focal point of a new, beautifully designed landscape. The client wanted to replace their tired existing pool with something elegant and modern.
The swimming pool design incorporates an elongated pool, with a deck level overflow pool system. A clean, and natural pool finish was achieved with a green 600mm x 300mm porcelain tile, which helps to give a clean and natural pool finish. The client was clear about the aesthetic they were looking to achieve, when they requested a modern entertaining space, with a luxury swimming pool as the focal point.
The installation process was very smooth and Guncast worked alongside conscientious builder, Chris, and Paul Kimberly, the landscape designers, to bring the project together. Slots made in the surround stone were used to create the deck level design, in place of traditional grating, which helps to keep the surround tiling as clean as possible, as well as giving the swimming pool a contemporary, and natural feel, complementing the landscape design.
The pool is heated sustainably, using a Calorex air source heat pump which captures heat from the air and transfers it to the swimming pool water. That is supported by an Ocea automatic pool cover with solar properties, which also helps to reduce heat loss from the pool in an environmentally-friendly way.
