There were celebrations all round at the annual UK Pool & Spa Awards as over 100 Gold Standard awards and 40 Silver Standard awards were presented to some of the industry’s leading water leisure companies.
Showcasing the very best examples of pool and spa design and construction from across the country, the awards celebrated the water leisure industry’s 2015 achievements at the special prize-giving event.
Winners across 25 categories were presented with trophies at the business networking and promotional evening, held at the Vox Conference Centre within the new Resorts World at the NEC in Birmingham.
A sell-out crowd made up of representatives from more than 80 companies across all areas of water leisure attended the event, which began with a business networking style drinks reception.
Guests had the opportunity to meet with all of the companies involved in sponsoring the awards – all helping to raise the profile of individual winners and the industry as a whole. An informal dinner buffet preceded the hotly contested prize-giving, which was hosted by Christina Connor, editor of Pool & Spa Scene magazine.
Guests gave generously to charitable donations as part of fun and games during the interval games. This year’s chosen charity was the Historic Pools of Britain – a new national organisation established to celebrate Britain’s’ swimming heritage. A staggering £750.00 was raised on the night for the charity.
