Golden Coast has welcomed new staff to increase its customer support as sales of their tubhub collection continue to soar. Golden Coast’s tubhub range is believed to be Europe’s largest collection of spa accessories. It covers every aspect of ownership, from maintenance and cleaning to comfort and entertainment. As the latest addition to the Technical Sales team, Teres McGraw is one of the new experts working with customers to provide advice and guidance on the latest spa trends and tubhub bestsellers.
“Much of my career has been in sales and account management, and it’s nice that I now get to work with such fun products in the tubhub range,” says Teres . “Any hot tub owner wants to make the most of their investment, and that means getting the right equipment that can not only enhance enjoyment, but also prolong the lifetime of the spa,” Teres continues. “For our customers, tubhub provides an ideal opportunity for upselling and the products make attractive additions to showrooms.
“I’m really looking forward to getting out on the road and presenting customers with the different options available. There’s something for everyone.” Adam Clark, Sales Director at Golden Coast agrees and comments: “It has been encouraging to see how well our customers have responded to tubhub. “We are seeing increasing product demand across the sector and by expanding our team we can ensure that we not only meet but also exceed customer service expectations.” Adam continues: “Maximising showroom sales is about appealing to your customers when they visit your showroom for consumable products.
“For example, if they come in to buy chlorine, sell them some test strips. Or if they come in for a new filter, talk to them about filter cleaners or spa vacs.” To aid with presenting many of the popular smaller add-on items and accessories, tubhub Slat Wall Display Kits are available to enhance showrooms and develop sales. The kits help visitors get a convenient look at key selections from the most comprehensive range of quality hot tub and spa accessories on the market. Adam points out: “When the customer is there in your showroom, excited about their new hot tub or spa, having a range of quality, attractive accessories out on display can really help to drive additional point-of- purchase sales.
“A well-designed display can work wonders in this regard and that extra cross-selling on top of the spa or hot tub can prove a lucrative sales source.” Adam advises retailers to place accessories displays close to the payment area, where customers will be drawn to colourful and fun products. Fragrances for example will often pique interest. And he adds: “Remember to update the displays. Rotating stock keeps your showroom fresh and gives customers something new to look at, so they will be more engaged when they visit.” Another approach is to incentivise your showroom staff, advises Adam pointing out that front-line team are the face of the business, so should be encouraged to upsell accessories by offering rewards and recognition for meeting sales targets.
Adam again: “The best way to find out what sells best is to speak to your suppliers. At Golden Coast, we have tubhub — Europe’s most comprehensive range of spa accessories — and customers often ask us about our best sellers. “Our team can guide you on the latest fun trends, be it lights, fragrances, or novelty rubber ducks, as well as best-performing maintenance or cleaning products that will help your customer prolong the life of their spa or hot tub. “There is a vast range of spa accessories available, you will be sure to find the things that work best for your customer and sell quickly in your showroom.”
