Beer Cellar Turned Luxury Spa Retreat

Euphoria Lifestyle (3)A beer cellar within a former London pub has been transformed into a two-bedroom apartment with a luxury spa and wellness area, with a little help from Euphoria Lifestyle.

Euphoria Lifestyle was first contacted in November 2014 by Nacropolis GOC, a high-end residential London property developer concerning a unique project to build a private home spa in the basement of a former public house, located off Tottenham Court Road.

Following a site visit, Nacropolis and Euphoria worked together to select the appropriate products and carefully plan the installation. With limited space available, a top of the range Jacuzzi Delfi hot tub was specified along with a bespoke Helo steam room.

Among its stand-out features, the four-seater Delfi model includes 16 adjustable Power Pro jets, as well as ten blowers, a waterfall and an audio system with Bluetooth.

“Several versions were in-progress before finalising the specification,” explains Mike Robinson of Euphoria Lifestyle.

“The hot tub was delivered into the basement and left wrapped for many weeks while the excavation and development continued. The steam room was built later, before the entire spa area was tiled.”

Mike continues: “The project went extremely well and the result is superb. It marks the start of an excellent partnership between Nacroplis GOC and Euphoria Lifestyle and talks are underway for the next collaboration in Notting Hill.”

Ravi Pankhania, managing director of Nacropolis GOC said: “Mike and his team have done a first class job from start to finish on this development. We agreed at the outset exactly what was needed any when and I’m absolutely delighted with the result.”

The project gained a Gold Standard in the Hot Tub Project of the Year category at the UK Pool & Spa Awards in November and also won a BISHTA award in the Residential hot tub £7,000 to £14,000 category at the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards earlier this year.
