Bespoke Buildings & Spas scooped the Overseas Spa Project Of The Year and are looking to maximise the marketing potential of their win.

Held at the prestigious Vox Conference Centre, at Birmingham’s NEC, buoyant celebrations marked a general15 per cent across the board increase. Overall sales reached an estimated £140 million, strengthened by an estimated £50million associated sales in accessories and water treatment products.
Some 400 companies, involved in the sale of hot tubs and swim spas across the UK, saw hot tub sales top 20,000 units this year with swim spas nudging the 1,000 annual sales mark– nearly as many installations as new residential pools built annually in the UK.
“Sales have peaked at a time when people are investing in their existing home and lifestyles rather than taking on the financial risk of a house move to a more expensive property, ”said Lloyd Burden, Vice President of International Sales for top selling Hydropool Hot Tubs.
“At the same time, a maturing market has seen the professionalism of the industry improve with an average hot tub sale around £7k including VAT, and high ticket projects that are transforming gardens up and down the country. ”MARKETING POTENTIAL
Showcasing the finest examples of both indoor and outdoor hot tub design from across the country, 70 hot tub products ,projects and companies, were recognised at the record-breaking2017 UK Pool & Spa Awards, which is open to the entire water leisure industry.
“I cannot over-emphasise the marketing potential of the UK Pool & Spa Awards,” Andrew Newsome of Bespoke Buildings and Spas revealed. “My win last year secured us the project in France which has gone on to become a winner in its own right this year.
“It is no exaggeration that we have seen at least a 20% sales increase on the back of the competition success,” he added.
With record-breaking entries this year, the winners in the UK Pool & Spa Awards contest were decided in a three-tier judging process which included on-line public voting, assessment from specialist judges and a final adjudication panel.
Top performers were recognised across ten categories and were presented with trophies and certificates at the awards ceremony at the outstanding Vox conference centre, part of  World’s Resort at the NEC, Birmingham. The event was attended by over 250 of the industry’s key personnel including leisure operators, hot tub manufacturers and retailers.
