This summer saw the launch of a brand new outdoor hot tub dining experience in the heart of London. Allowing guests to enjoy al fresco dining whilst relaxing in wood fired hot tubs, Supper Tub has proven to be a big hit with city dwellers since it launched in July.
Situated canal-side on a decked area at Bar 90 in Hackney Wick, guests can dine while they dip and sip while they soak in one of three luxurious wooden hot tubs supplied by Dutch company HOTTUBSelect.
The Supper Tub concept is the brainchild of social entrepreneur Adam Taffler. He explains: “The idea came from a friend of mine who has wood-burning hot tub and used to cook in the stove and serve it to guests. I liked the improbability of it and I thought that’s a great idea, can I make it work on a larger scale.
“Channelling a heady festival vibe, Supper Tub is a truly unique and sensory dining experience.”
Changing rooms and hot showers are provided for guests and food is ordered and delivered directly to the hot tubs by a team of tubside waiting staff.
