Marquis Spas has granted its 700th spa wish in partnership with the Make-A-Wish foundation, by providing a swim spa for a youngster with disabilities.
Eight-year-old Chase, who suffers with Mowat Wilson Syndrome, received his very own 17ft Aquatic Training Vessel (ATV™) courtesy of Make-A-Wish and with the help of Marquis Spas.
At 18 months old, Chase was diagnosed with the condition which causes him to suffer from seizures. Chase didn’t walk until he was two years old and even now doesn’t have a lot of strength in his legs. In addition to enjoying the water, the swim spa will also be therapeutic for Chase and help strengthen his muscles.
The ATV™ 17 Sport is a new addition to the Marquis product line and has been a very popular wish request in the last few years.
As the preferred provider for Make-A-Wish hot tub wishes, Marquis has helped grant more than 700 life-changing wishes since 2000.
“It’s incredibly rewarding that through our hot tubs and swim spas, we are able to add some happiness and improve the wellbeing of so many children with life-threatening medical conditions,” says John Schrenk President of Marquis.
