Superior Wellness took the wraps of its much-heralded new hot tub showroom to universal acclaim from gathered dealers and suppliers alike.
Located alongside its Chesterfield headquarters, the 10,000 sq ft show floor boasts 20 hot tubs, six of which are available for pre-purchase wet testing.
A year in the making, with enhanced displays including saunas, gazebos and outdoor furniture, the new show centre is believed to be one of the largest hot tub showrooms in the UK.
With the emphasis on investment in its staff team, the grand showroom opening was performed by Luke Shiels, Logistics Manager. Luke has worked with Superior Wellness for eight years and is the company’s longest standing employee.
The showroom project has been a fast-track journey for Superior Wellness, believed to be the world’s fastest growing hot tub manufacturer, who only moved into their new headquarters the previous year.
PRIORITY PREVIEW
As the only magazine at the launch event, some of the Pool & Spa Scene team were given a priority preview of the Superior hub which includes 130,000 sq ft of warehousing with the capacity to hold up to 3,000 hot tubs in stock.
The facility boasts a marketing suite, numerous spacious offices, chill- out rooms and even a gym, where Managing Director Rob Carlin, himself supervises regular keep-fit boxing sessions.
Back in the showroom, the Superior Wellness partner network were able to view a range of products from brands such as Platinum Spas, Thermals Spas, Be Well, and much more.
Jamie Smith, Head of Retail said: “We are delighted to officially reopen our showroom doors to the public again with a glass of fizz to greet them.
“To celebrate the launch, we ran an in-store only offer with all hot tubs discounted by £500 and accessories by 20% for one weekend only.
Following the showroom and headquarters tour, the Annual Partner Conference moved to the nearby Casa Hotel as Sales Director, Gareth Ward, opened proceedings with an overview of the year. Tim Scott, After Sales Manager then stepped into the spotlight followed by Sarah Elphick, Head Of Marketing.
PERSONAL GOLDS
Superior’s Business Development Manager Graham Message presented updates on sales potential across the range of Superior Wellness products before motivational speaker and two times world champion, Steve Judge, inspired delegates to achieve their own personal golds.
With Managing Director closing the business end of the event, delegates then were able to return for dinner and entertainment with a packed programme of Superior Wellness awards for exceptional business performance and some unusual outstanding achievements.
Following previous challenges of walking over hot coals, dealers were not disappointed with this year’s invitation to perform a traditional Maori Haka.
Always seen before New Zealand All Black rugby matches, Hakas are usually performed in a group and represent a display of a tribe’s pride, strength and unity – clearly messages not just for the Superior Wellness team, but also for its partner network.
