This summer’s outdoor show season got off to a flying start as the mild weather heightened interest across the board in hot tubs, pools and the outdoor living lifestyle generally.
Many companies reported record-breaking sales figures and exceeded targets, all helping to shape what could be a stonking year for the UK’s hot tub industry.
Hydropool Scotland kicked off the successful outdoor show season with the Ideal Home Show in Glasgow, this year doubling its sales. Hydropool Devon also enjoyed an uplift in sales, smashing all records at the Devon County Show in May, The Royal Bath & West Show and The Royal Cornwall Show, both in June.
“It was our first time at The Royal Cornwall and our fantastic display of swim spas was well received by visitors,” commented David Wright of Hydropool.
“In terms of sales, the most popular hot tub models were the Self-Cleaning 670 and 1038. And from the swim spas the 17ft Aqua Trainer and Dual Temp 19fx Aqua Trainer attracted the most interest.”
