Having firmly established itself as a leading spa manufacturer in the UK, Marquis is hoping to continue the momentum of last year by strengthening its growing network of dealers.
2014 started well for Marquis with a successful debut at UK Pool & Spa Expo in Birmingham and concluded with a significant increase in UK dealer sales volume compared to the previous year.
“2014 was an excellent year for Marquis – perhaps our best in 10 years,” comments Jim Johnston, vice president of marketing.
“As in other markets, we experienced double-digit UK sales percentage growth and clear market share expansion.
“It is not an easy decision for any dealer in any market to change the hot tub brand or brands in their business. Nevertheless, increasingly we are finding new dealers joining our network due to what they see in our products, what they hear from their peers in the industry and the obvious momentum that expanding consumer sales confirms.”
There are 15 active Marquis dealers in the UK today with a further five prospective dealers joining this year. Marquis offers its dealers a full package of branded point of sale materials and digital selling tools with consumer education videos on all its products. The University of Marquis Learning Zone is a dedicated resource for dealer staff education on selling, service and product knowledge.
Jim adds: “Our global involvement with the Make-A-Wish charity and the very good work our dealer network does in helping children facing life-threatening situations has also affirmed to many dealers that this brand is the type of organisation that they would be proud to join.”
