Leading spa manufacturer Hydropool has invested in a major new UK warehousing and distribution facility in Oxfordshire. Known as Hydropool House, the extensive new facility will offer Hydropool dealers a quicker and more efficient distribution service, combined with improved technical support and training.

“This is a huge step forward for Hydropool UK and one which will make a big difference for our network of dealers,” explains Lloyd Burden, Hydropool’s Vice President of International Sales.

STREAMLINE DISTRIBUTION : “First and foremost, it will improve the efficiency of our distribution process. The facility will enable us to triple our stock availability and we will also be able to offer an overnight parts, delivery and installation service. “As well as that, we will also have the ability to provide on-site training for both technical and sales staff,” he adds. Situated on Watlington Industrial Estate, with good access links to the M40, the 28,000 sq ft unit can accommodate up to 300 hot tubs and 50 swim spas at any time. The unit also benefits from an office area, meeting rooms and an acre of outdoor space.

SPRING OPENING : Lloyd has been instrumental in establishing the new distribution centre, supported by Stephane Barralis, Chief Marketing Officer and Tony Horsley, who has been appointed as Operations Manager at Hydropool House. It is hoped that the centre will be up and running and fully operational by March 1st. “Last year was another record-breaking year for Hydropool in terms of sales and we are feeling confident about the year ahead,” says Lloyd.

“The Hydropool team is extremely excited about the new distribution facility and as we head in to 2017, the company is well positioned to further its growth and continue to improve its service for both dealers and end consumers.”
