WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF THE HOT TUB SECTOR MARKET PERFORMANCE THROUGH COVID-19 AND BEYOND?
It has been a big challenge for manufacturers, suppliers and dealerships. But I think everyone has adapted and worked hard to get the end products to the customers. Still big challenges ahead, but it will be a bumper sales year for everyone.

HOW AND WHEN DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN THE INDUSTRY?
I started as a part time weekend salesman at Hindhead Hot Tubs back in 1999.

PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR CURRENT INDUSTRY ROLE:
I am now, UK sales manager for the Wellis brand and I look after the UK dealer network for the Hungarian manufacturer. My role varies from recruiting new dealers, training and customer service.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I love every part of my job but the biggest satisfaction is when you open a new showroom and see that business grow and be successful.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN? AND BY WHOM?

WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO ON THE RADIO WHILEYOU ARE DRIVING AROUND THE COUNTRY?
I listen to Classic FM a lot, because it keeps you calm.

WHO WOULD BE YOUR THREE GUESTS AT YOUR DREAM DINNER PARTY?
Billy Connelly for the jokes, Judy Dench for the class and Bruce Lee for his wisdom.

HOW DO YOU PREFER TO SPEND QUALITY TIME OUTSIDE OF WORK?
Love to spend time with my wife and children making them happy and for me time, I love to run.

ANY CLAIMS TO FAME?
Youngest Publican in UK at 19 and was voted Pleatco Perfect Spa Guy in 2014.

HOW DO YOU SPEND QUALITY TIME OUT OF WORK….
My other passion is football and rugby and I love to take my son to as many Chelsea matches as I can. Have made my son’s dream come true to meet all the players and get his tops signed .

WHAT IS YOUR TOP TIP TO YOUR DEALERS?
I believe that social media is my top tip to dealerships, especially quality content images is key and interaction. It’s a great platform for getting your brand name out there, building followers and future customers by keeping them up to date with your products, offers and generally building a rapport.
