Spa Stars Sparkle At Bishta Awards

bishta2Stephen Crabb, of Catalina Spas, was honoured with a special achievement award, one of the highlights of the recent British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association (BISHTA) Awards.
Held at the De Vere Grand Hotel in Brighton, Stephen was recognised for his huge contribution to BISHTA, having been one of the original five companies involved in setting up the Association over a decade ago.
He was a committee member from the start and then took over as BISHTA chairman from 2004 to 2007 and has continued to work tirelessly for the hot tub industry. He was one of the BISHTA representatives that developed the Management of Spa Pools publication with the Health Protection Agency and HSE.
He was the first BISHTA chairman to become BSPF President and he is still on BISHTA’s technical committee today, developing industry standards and assisting with the production of information for BISHTA members and consumers.
Another stand out winner at the BISHTA awards was Jane Veysey and the All Swim team, winners of Showroom Of The Year and Website Of The Year.
All Swim’s showroom is located in the city of Cardiff, within easy access of the M4. It is a bespoke built venue and warehouse constructed in 2004 and totalling 7,500 ft2. The elegant showroom is all on the ground floor and there is ample car parking spaces outside for visitors.
Customer-friendly banners and knowledgeable staff help make the visiting experience a pleasure. Discounts and offers are clearly displayed, encouraging customers that you can have a hot tub whatever your budget is.
All Swim, also took top honours in the Best Website category, a new for BISHTA this year. The All Swim site, pictured left, stood out with some enticing images, clear discounted offers and easy navigation. Expert advice is offered on the website and clear contact details stood out for the judges. There was also good social media interaction and a real customer focus to the site.
