A market leader in super yacht luxury spas and whirlpool bath systems, Splash-Tec has just completed a bespoke spa in collaboration with William Garvey cabinet makers. The striking teak shell was crafted and finished by the Devon-based cabinet makers, and Splash-Tec then transformed it into a lavish statement feature for a luxury Knightsbridge home.
John Ellis, director at Splash-Tec explains: “Clever design and efficiency were crucial as limited space, on site assembly and a short build time proved to be major factors in the build. However, with our skills in integrating bespoke spas onto super yachts, we happily rose to the challenge, and the finished piece boasts many of the special features seen on super yacht spas.” The spa boasts a fully lit 1.3m stainless steel waterfall; 40 adjustable, hydro massage jets; a nine-jet air system and underwater mood LED lighting, including Balboa’s latest control system with built in WIFI, featuring apps for both iPhone and android integration. John adds: “We were thrilled to be able to showcase our skills and to create something so unique.”
