Following a serious fire at the Passion Spas headquarters in Holland this summer, the team is pleased to inform the UK trade that they are very much open for business.
The fire, which struck at the end of July, affected 65 per cent of the site, damaging millions of pounds worth of display spas, outdoor furniture and accessories.
However, the company proved its resilience in the face of adversity and immediately got the operations areas back up and running.
Within 24 hours of the fire a temporary office location established, which has led to a seamless transition for the Pasion Spas UK and European dealers.
Whilst a major part of the retail showroom was destroyed, the main warehouse was not affected. A new predelivery inspection building has already been constructed, where all spas are wet tested before despatch. New offices have also been set up for the staff.
A new 60,000 square foot showroom has also been erected on site to cater for the company’s European retail operation. This features the full line-up of 60 Passion Spas hot tubs and six swim spas on display.
Work has already started on rebuilding the main showroom and demonstration area, which it is hoped will re-open in the very near future.
“Whilst the fire has obviously caused problems initially, we are very pleased to report that we are going to achieve a record year of sales in the UK,” comments Passion Spas Founder Dolf Nieland.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to our staff, dealers, suppliers and customers for their warm support during this time.
“We have a long term belief at Passion Spas and will use this opportunity to enlarge our showroom, work with our dealers, and carry on creating products that consumers want to buy.”
Dolf adds: “We will be attending all of the European and UK trade shows over the winter and welcome the chance to meet with all of our existing dealers, and to welcome new faces to our team.”
