When the Lucas family embarked on a complete redevelopment of their garden, they enlisted the services of Monmouthshire-based Oyster Pools & Leisure to supply a new hot tub that would become the focal point of the newly-transformed outdoor space.
The Lucas’ worked with Oyster Pools & Leisure to select a hot tub model that would suit all of their requirements. Staying within the £14,500 budget guideline, a Jacuzzi J456 was chosen, as it fitted well with the look of the new garden and the colour scheme was a perfect match for the tones of the grounds.
The six-person hot tub features five seats and a lounger, as well as an illuminated waterfall and an integral audio system.
“The spa was positioned to add balance to the garden and a path links it to the house while letting it remain a separate attraction,” comments Paula McCabe of Oyster Pools & Leisure. “At the client’s request, a canopy was added for decoration, protection and privacy and the waterproof television was a welcome addition.”
She adds: “The clients were delighted and they are planning to buy another Jacuzzi from us for their daughter. Praise doesn’t come much higher than that.”
Client Helen Lucas explains: “ Our previous spa had shown us the benefits of hydrotherapy and we wanted a better model that would be even better at providing this benefit. “We and the family like to keep fit and well so this was an important consideration. We also like to spend time with friends and the Jacuzzi, its music and its specially designed area is perfect for entertaining. Therefore we went to a supplier whose hot tub consultant took us through what each model had to offer.
“The spa is everything we could have asked for,” adds Helen. “We are thoroughly enjoying it and are envied by family and friends, who also think it looks great and feels fantastic.”
