Thumbs Up For A Bumper Outdoor Season

As the summer draws to a close, spa and hot tub companies across the country can finally take a well-earned breather after a hectic, yet rewarding, show season.

Many dealers reported record-breaking sales figures and exceeded targets as the warm weather heightened interest in the outdoor living lifestyle and its associated products.

“The summer disappears working hard on the show circuit,” comments Issy Rickards Sanger, Director of Elite Spas.

“There are always the highs and the lows and most of the dealers think it is easy untill they’ve spent three days on the stand and have to pack the rig down!”

This year the Elite Spas team attended some 50 shows across the country. Elite dealers including Wensum Pools, Castle Hot Tubs, Southern Spas & Saunas and Goodwins Hot Tubs all ‘wowed’ the crowds with their product displays and ultimately reaped the rewards.

“A huge well done to everyone as most of the shows are out of the work hours,” says Issy.
She adds: “All we can say as a company, there are still massive amounts of people looking to buy leisure products for their gardens and homes.”

Taking a fresh approach, Arctic Spas hit the high notes at a number of music festivals this summer. The team provided an Arctic Klondiker hot tub for the performing artists in the VIP tent at the Upton Sunshine Music Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

They also attended the Concert of Legends event at Worcestershire County Cricket Club in September, which was headlined by acts such as UB40, Lulu and the Lighthouse Family.
