With almost 500 points of sale across 32 countries, Hungarian based Wellis has firmly established itself as one of Europe’s largest spa manufacturers.
Having enjoyed steady growth year on year, Wellis products have found increasing popularity among consumers throughout Europe, since the company was established in 2003.
Wellis is owned and managed by brothers Zsolt Czafik and Ákos Czafik. Zsolt is responsible for the daily operations and production, while Ákos is the export director and is supported by Pál Bihari and Dóra Béres.
Ákos Czafik, Wellis’ export director comments: “From early beginnings as a straightforward import and export business, Wellis quickly realised the increasing consumer demand for high quality products, which are not always available from other suppliers.
“We now have close to 20 different models across five clearly defined spa ranges. This allows dealers to tightly focus on product types and price points to cover the inevitable gaps in their current range.”
The Wellis range of whirlpool baths and garden spas are certified to meet or exceed German TUV quality standards and are produced at a purpose-built factory near Budapest. The company undertook the multi-million euro investment. In 2010 to complete the construction of the high-tech manufacturing facility. With co-operation from their European partners, Wellis designed and implemented the 7,000 sq. metre production unit, incorporating robotic technology.
The facility also accommodates Wellis’ central stock and serves customers across the continent. The average delivery time of a product that is in stock is between one and six weeks. The delivery time increases in cases where the product is manufactured on request.
Ákos comments: “Our stock level in Hungary is between 400-500 units currently, however we plan to increase our stock inventory to 700 to 800 units for 2015.”
Working with a host of well-known suppliers, such as Balboa, Aristech Surfaces and Laing to deliver the latest technologies, the Wellis product catalogue comprises of five ranges of hot tubs, designed to meet the needs of all its customers. The HighLine range of spas offers high power combined with the latest technologies such as the Pulsar™ massage system, Laing circulation pumps, Wi-Fi media and eco credentials. The CityLine models are no-nonsense easy-to-own spas with the same high tech construction of the HighLine range, but generally more open seating, and slightly less features as standard.
