A customer contacted the team at Caldera Spas Scotland on the lookout for a wellness combination for a purpose-built room as a luxury home swim and spa retreat. With few budget limitations, the customer was looking for a high-end product and look. The client opted for an Endless Pool modular pool with treadmill and Caldera Spa Cantabria hot tub. Completed in the summer of 2020, the high-end, multi-purpose Endless pool installation features a 10k treadmill. The system moves more water, requiring a 61cm x 45.75cm outlet grille – that is almost 30% larger than the original model. The broder, deeper current gives beginners, in particular, more room to drift. Users can power it up to its demanding top speed of 1:11/200m or, at the push of a button, slow the current down to a gentle pace. Offering the added wow factor, the customer also requested a carbon fibre ‘cobra head’ be incorporated into the design helping win the project a Gold Standard in the recent UK Pool & Spa Awards.
