The practice of taking pool
water samples is fundamental
to accurate testing. These
guidelines will ensure more
accurate results: the sample
should be taken from a
centralised position of the pool
(not near the filtration or water
input); always take the sample
from the same place and at
300mm below the surface;
false results will occur from
container contamination – a
clean, plastic container (firstly
rinsed out three times with the pool water) is ideal; finally, always collect sufficient water for
all the tests. Of course, using the Lovibond® water sampler ensures accuracy every time.
