Hosting one of the biggest corporate events of its kind for many years, AquaFinesse UK recently welcomed a group of over 100 new and potential dealers for a weekend of work, rest and play in
A group of more than 108 travelled to the five star Bluestone Holiday Resort in the heart of 500 acres of Pembrokeshire countryside in West Wales. They enjoyed top class accommodation
in timber lodges with amenities including the resort’s own village, Well Spa and the popular Blue Lagoon water park. One of the highlights of the event was a hog roast with alive band held at the resort’s Old Smokey cabin-style restaurant in the heart of a wooded glaze within the Park. The majority of
AquaFinesse group opted to take the direct route to the camp via a nail-biting ride on the zip wire rather than the footpath.
During a fabulous weekend of fun, there was also some serious work to be done! The weekend programme of events included educational seminars that highlighted the benefits of the specialist AquaFinesse water treatment programme for pools and spas as well as workshops on how best to maximise sales. Guest speakers Shaun Casey, from Canada and Steve Sweeny from the USA delivered inspiring and informative presentations.
Dealers took the opportunity to stock up on promotional material and complementary products to the water treatment range.
“The aim of the event was to fully train and certificate our existing dealers giving them the confidence and knowledge to
improve their sales and to reward them for their loyalty with a luxury weekend packed with fun,” commented Sally Koob, of
“It was a very expensive style of event to put on; the like of which nobody in the industry has seen in over 20 years, I am told.”
AquaFinesse already boasts an extensive network of dealers across the UK and Europe but are always on the look out to
expand its dealer base with quality retailers. Sally said: “We did look at Center Parcs as well as other more traditional venues but they did not have the right facilities – plus Bluestone is the only five star accommodation of its type in Europe.
“The highlight for me was the high turnout and the amazing feedback from all of the attendees. We are delighted that it was so
well received which makes it worth every penny.” James Candler and Carolyn Hall, of Superior Hot Tubs,
Cheltenham, summed up the feelings of the attendees: “We had a really good weekend and found the training very useful. It was
also an excellent opportunity to meet other dealers and service people and exchange views and ideas with them,” they said.
“We already love AquaFinesse and have converted many of our customers to its benefits. We also use it in all of our maintenance
contracts, which allows us to do once weekly upkeeps without our clients having to worry about the water at all.
“It’s always surprising how good the water is after a week of heavy usage. Most of our clients who use it tell us how nice the
water feels now and we’ve had some with skin problems which are really pleased with how their conditions have improved since
