The annual Jacuzzi hot tub conference was held at the new Leeds headquarters of Jacuzzi UK which shares a building with the latest showroom of Outdoor Living, the UK’s top selling Jacuzzi dealers.
Dealers from all over the UK were welcomed by commercial director, Duncan Simcox. He reported sales of £5.7m that represented a 16% sales increase in a year that saw the successful launch of Jacuzzi’s new J200s and a 25% growth of the on-line network of Jacuzzi Direct.
The year saw a 40% per cent increase on sales for Jacuzzi’s top end dealers with other retailer sales up by 16% while managed stores saw a 31% upturn in sales.
Duncan said: “We have seen fantastic business to business opportunities realised during the winter months primarily at holiday parks and hotels with Jacuzzi becoming the preferred supplier to Hoseasons and Pride of Britain hotels.”
Peter Munk, Jacuzzi president of global sales went on to outline the company’s objective to be the world leader in spa and related wellness products, delivering a consistently outstanding consumer experience.
James Shrage, Jacuzzi’s dealer development manager, gave an update on product developments that will include a new footdome, a softened curved headrest a new look waterfall cover and an enhanced pillow design. James also detailed ways to make more money by creating a better customer experience through the five-step Jacuzzi sales journey balancing logic versus emotion.
