A team of 23 from all departments of Bosta UK will go the extra mile this
month when they take on the notorious Three Peaks Challenge of climbing
Ben Nevis, Skarfel Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.
Climbing times are generally suggested as being around four hours for
Snowdon, and five hours each for Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike. Taking on
the challenge within 24 hours is notoriously difficult, draining energy and
depriving participants of sleep.
The Bosta staff, including warehouse, administration and sales personnel
o f t h e pipeline and pool and spa wholesale specialists, are confident they c a n
succeed in support of their chosen charities: Help for Heroes, St Nicholas
Hospice and Warrington and Halton Hospital Charitable Fund.
Bosta UK managing director, Conrad Bos, says: “The difference we have is
the passion of our teams here in Bury St Edmunds, Warrington and Yeovil.
“Whether it is helping pipeline engineers and swimming pool builders
select from the 12,000; pipes, fittings and valves we stock or packing last
minute orders late into the night or supporting each other up the steep
mountain slopes at 2 am.”
