MegaGroup, the parent company of Bosta UK, suppliers of pipeline components for water-based markets, including the swimming pools sector, is to open a mammoth european distribution centre in Holland. The distribution centre, in Veghel, in the south of Holland, should be operational before the end of 2013. It will take up 11,000 m2 with 18.000 pallet locations and ten loading docks and will serve all customers in north-west Europe including the UK.
With a daily pick line capacity in excess of 10,000, Bosta says customers in the UK and europe will be supplied even faster, even more reliably and with a much more extensive product range from this central stock and distribution centre. The company has pledged to continue investing in its sales and commercial teams based in Bury St. Edmunds, Warrington and Yeovil. Established in 1943, MegaGroup has grown into a network of 24 outlets with more than 400 employees in 14 european countries, sourcing mainly in Southern-Europe and China. 1994 saw the first Bosta UK outlet which grew to three in 2009. The Group has grown in recent years to over 400 employees and now has the critical mass to move up to the next level.
