Cimspa To Deliver New Qualifications

CIMSPA
CIMSPA have partnered with the Institute of Swimming to deliver their pool plant operator qualifications.

CIMSPA’s pool plant operator qualifications will be delivered by the Institute of Swimming (IoS) from now on, following a new partnership between the two organisations. The agreement will see the full suite of CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) qualifications organised and delivered by the IoS, with external quality assurance and certification provided by the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards (IQL). Tara Dillon, CIMSPA’s interim chief operating officer commented: “This new partnership is great news for the institute and pool plant operators.

By working together we can ensure that CIMSPA pool plant operator qualifications will continue to be recognised as the gold standard for training and education in the industry.” Jane Nickerson, chief operating officer of the ASA added: “Not only will this increase the accessibility of tutors and resources, it will also provide a greater number of training opportunities for learners delivered to the same high standards they have come to expect from our organisations.” The agreement began in September and will last for three years, enabling CIMSPA to develop and review their courses and qualifications.
