Pool allowed dogs to take an end of season dip.
An outdoor swimming pool in Lincolnshire welcomed four-legged friends and their owners to take a dip during the last few sessions of the season, in a bid to raise vital funds.
Heckington Community Swimming Pool marked the end of the summer season with Doggie Dip sessions, following a highly successful trial last year.
Michael Wells, chair of the pool committee explains: “The idea started as a bit of a joke, but the one-off session last year proved to be so popular that we decided to roll it out again this year.
“Some dogs really enjoy having a good splash about, whereas others are a little hesitant at first. Owners are welcome to swim with the dogs if they wish.”
