The third edition of the UK Pool & Spa Expo returned to the NEC in Birmingham in January, with plenty of innovative products and services to inspire the pool and spa sectors. The UK Pool & Spa Expo team put on the third of their new style events in Hall 10 at the NEC from January 22 to 24 inclusive. Organisers advised that 1,155 visitors made their way to the 2015 event, with an international presence from countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North and South America.
“We had a great show this year, we pride ourselves on the quality of our visitors as we work hard for our exhibitors all year round to attract the valued customers they are searching for,” commented show organiser Claire Saunders.
With a steady stream of visitors on the first and second day, the third day was particularly quiet, but moral among the exhibitors remained upbeat and some reported record deals.
Claire added: “Our exhibitors reported some of the highest sales numbers they have ever achieved at a show. “Heatstar created a first by confirming an onsite unit order, Elite spas sold over 30 units on their stand, Portrait Pools reported excellent figures and VITA Spa spoke about the high quality of the leads generated at UK Pool & Spa Expo.” A spokesperson for Pool Chemical Products commented: “The UK Pool & Spa Expo provided Pool Chemical Products with an excellent platform to meet face-to-face with our existing customer base and new buyers.
“This enabled to form, establish and grow strong working relationships and ultimately secure new business. We were so impressed with the success we had at the event that we booked for next year before the Expo closed.”
Vicky Wrigglesworth of Artesian Spas said: “The UK Pool & Spa Show 2015 was once again been a success for us as a business. We always find it an excellent place to showcase our new products as well as speak to many people in the industry both new and old.”
A spokesperson for Wizard Hot Tubs added: “This show goes from strength to strength every year. It is well organised and well-advertised which brings in lots of customers trade and retail.”
The UK Pool & Spa Expo will return to the NEC from Sunday 22 – Tuesday 24 November 2015.
