Hydropool UK welcomed fellow retailers from around the world when they hosted the recent Hydropool European dealer conference gala dinner at the Felbridge Hotel in Sussex.
The 100 people attending were representing some 30 Hydropool dealerships in Europe and the Caribbean as well all senior management from Hydropool Inc. The event saw silver awards presented to retailers from Finland, Iceland, Lithuania and Norway as well as Riviera Decking, Hydropool Scotland, A19 Pool and Spas, Crighton’s Hydropool.
More international winners than ever received gold awards including Austria, Czechoslovakia, Tahiti, Poland, and Switzerland in addition to Yorkshire Hot Tubs and Hydropool Ireland. Hydropool presented more platinum awards than ever before to its largest customers who included France-based Clair Azur, Hydropool Belgium, Hydropool Hungary, Hydropool Sweden, winners from the Caribbean, the UK’s Pool & Spa Company and 18 times winners, Hydropool UK.
Special awards were presented to Best New Retailer Of The Year, Top Whirlpool of Switzerland and Most Improved Retailer Of The Year that was jointly shared by Hydropool Ireland and Yorkshire Hot Tubs. A new award of Swimspa Retailer of the Year was won by Clair Azur of France while Hydropool UK, with a 20% increase in sales, taking the top honour of International Retailer of the Year.
Paying tribute to european sales director, Lloyd Burden, Hydropool ceo David Jackson also congratulated the Hydropool dealers on an outstanding year and predicted record sales ahead. He said the company had completed expansion facilities at its headquarters in Ontario, Canada and now had capacity to manufacture up to 25 swim spas a day. “While the majority of our business is hot tub we really think swim spas are a growth area for the future,” said David, who predicted increased sales for 2014 and beyond. “Everything we do is made possible by our Hydropool dealers; it is a phenomenal group and I am honoured to be working with them.”
