Regulars at the Aqua Aerobics class at the Oasis Pool in Hunstanton, Norfolk, were devastated to hear their star instructor had been head-hunted.
Popular instructor, Bartosz Rewkowski, a degreequalified PE instructor in his native Poland, not only taught aqua aerobics but also undertook swimming lessons, mostly for children. His classes were  usually full to bursting and his departure has left huge shoes to fill.
âBartosz was so good because he always described and demonstrated the correct way to do each  exercise and described which muscles we were using,â said June Hammond, a regular at the group.
âHe really pushed us to work harder but had slower-paced jogging in between so that we kept moving, all with good humour. He built the classes up to between 30 and 50 depending on how many were on holiday. He is a sad loss.â
