For the first time in the UK, New Events, the organisers of the UK Pool & Expo, have signed an exclusive agreement with the National Swimming Pool Federation (NSPF) of the USA, to host their world renowned CPO certification course, at the UK Pool & Spa Expo 2014, February 20 to 22 inclusive., at the NEC, Birmingham.
Rob Saunders, director for New Events, commented: “We are incredibly excited to host the NSPF course at the 2014 event.
“This is the first time that this course has been available in the UK and students will have an opportunity to qualify for a course which will provide invaluable training in the skills necessary to operate a commercial pool or spa facility.”
The cost of the event will be £350 per delegate and will provide a qualification which will be valid for five years and will cover subjects such as clarity, breakpoint chlorination, protection against diseases in pool water and many other aspects of pool maintenance.
Rob continued: “The NSPF course will be of particular interest to hoteliers, pool builders, maintenance staff, water treatment companies, health officers or anyone who has interaction with a wet leisure facility.
“The course will comprise online training which can be tailored to fit with a students daily work and will finish with onsite practical training at the UK Pool & Spa Expo 2014 event,” he said.
UK Pool & Spa Expo 2014 is the first independently organised event in the UK and now in its second year at the NEC, promises to offer the UK water leisure industry an event showcasing the latest international products and technologies available.
