Training is well underway for Plastica’s Cale Sinfield as he prepares to run the Virgin Money London Marathon on April 24.

This will be the second consecutive year that the customer services manager has run the marathon for Phab Kids, a national charity dedicated to promoting and encouraging disabled and non-disabled people to achieve an integrated and inclusive society.

Cale explains: “I said that I probably wouldn’t do it again. It hurt. But then the pain went away and I realised I’d left my running mojo out on the course somewhere; so the only natural thing to do was go look for it. This time in four hours tops!”

Cale is hoping to raise ÂŁ1,000 for the charity and those who wish to sponsor him can do so on his JustGiving page.
