New Appointment Marks SCP UK Modernisation

SCP UK is embarking on a new chapter in the history of the company with the appointment of Dash Ganeson as Managing Director. Dash, originally, from Kuala Lumpur, came to the UK as a teenager to pursue his studies and completed his professional exams to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. His subsequent career has spanned a global framework and includes postings in London as well as abroad in Asia and the Middle East. Formerly the Finance Director, he has been with SCP for nearly ten years prior to his recent promotion. Dash said SCP UK was committed to maintaining a good level of inventory as a major distributor, as well as bringing new innovative products to the UK market but the emphasis for the future would be more investment in customer care and service. “While SCP UK will always be thankful for its long history in the UK, I think it is fair to say that the company has been through a period of change to ensure the company is healthier and fitter to meet the demands of the modern pool and spa markets,” says Dash. “We have had to adapt and prepare for the future and we believe we are now more finely tuned to enable our customers to do the same.”
