Paramount hosted a three-day training seminar for its Aquamatic automatic swimming pool cover dealers recently.
Each day, Mark Webster, Aquamatic’s service manager, introduced Mark Turner and Andrew Dunn, Paramount’s most experienced engineers with over 30 years combined experience between them. Together, they went through all the various scenarios involved in the delivery of Aquamatic, from basic maintenance, pit construction and chemical application to common pitfalls.
“With so many covers in the market place, our main objective was to encourage our dealers to invest in their own engineers and to show how easy it is to carry out basic maintenance procedures,” said Mark Webseter.
“Quite often, the working mechanics can be off-putting to an engineer who has never worked on our system.
“With a fully operational model built specifically for the training day we were able to go through various service elements on different track styles.”
Steve Martin, Paramount managing director said: “The event was not a sales presentation, it was a seminar carried out by engineers for engineers. In fact the response was so good that we have allocated another seminar in early 2015.
“I was delighted with the feedback that I received from all that attended.”
