The Fluidra group has invested five years of research and development and 1.2m euros into the Mac, a clever, fullyfunctioning system that integrates and optimises physical and chemical treatments for residential pools up to 80m3. Suitable to be positioned indoors or out, filters, pumps and dosing are all controlled by 5” touch screen smart screen manager that coordinates all parameters to ensure each pool works to optimised settings with an option for dial in control via iPad or tablet.
“When it is installed, the Mac is configured to exact pool requirements based on bather load and operational days,” explains Dyfed Thompson-Smith, sales and marketing manager for AstralPoolUK Ltd.
“For instance holiday homes can be automatically programmed for week day and weekend schedules putting the owners completely in control of a far more cost-efficient and environmentally friendly swimming pool,” he adds. “It is not very often we can introduce a truly innovative and unique product to the market, but that is exactly what we have with the AstralPool Mac,” says Dyfed.
