The Pollet Pool Group reins have been handed over from one Peter to another, following the recent appointment of Peter Turnbull as general manager for the UK and Ireland. Peter, who joined the Pollet family from Bayrol three years ago as a sales executive, has taken on the position from Peter Evans.
In his new role as general manager, Peter Turnbull will look to drive the business forward and to make the most of the opportunities in the UK market, backed by the finance, logistical support and expertise of PPG UK. “This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to make the next step in my career alongside a business which is itself making a big stride forward in its development,” he says.
Planned investment in PPG UK this year will see the business break away from its sister company Kennet Water Limited and move to separate offices and warehousing. The team reshuffle will also see Jimmy Lamb become the national sales manager for the UK and Ireland and Rob Davies step up as technical sales support. Peter adds: “There are a number of changes in the pipeline, but rest assured that our commitment to customer service and our innovative approach to supplying pool water treatment component parts and systems will steadfastly continue.”
