Coming face to face with a Dragon would leave most shaking in their boots but it was an opportunity not to be missed for growing Jacuzzi hot tub retailer Ruggles Leisure.
Husband and wife team Keith and Lisa Ruggles attended the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winner’s event in January and were presented with their certificate by Theo himself. Since being singled out as a business to watch out for by Theo in April 2014, the Ruggles Leisure duo has been looking forward to meeting Theo and learning a few tips from one of the best know retail giants in the UK.
“Being a small business owner can be isolating. Sometimes you are unsure whether you’re doing the right thing,” comments Lisa.
“Theo kept stressing the importance of following your instincts.”
This year is set to be another record-breaking year for Oxford based Ruggles Leisure after being listed in the top three Jacuzzi hot tub retailers in the UK for three consecutive years, along with sister company, Sapphire Leisure.
