SAD LOSS FOR UK POOL INDUSTRY

Family, friends, colleagues and customers were truly saddened by the sudden passing of Aquaflex’s Terry Wickham in June. A much-loved father and grandfather, Terry, will be greatly missed by all who knew him but he had suffered with poor health in recent years.

Terry founded Aquaflex with his joint Managing Director Neil Dalziel and Chairman John Crossman back in 1993. Terry’s responsibilities started with managing the factory production of pre-tailored bag liners and pool covers and then progressed on to on-site pool lining.

It was Terry’s drive and passion to grow the on-site pool lining side of the business to where Aquaflex are today with 16 installation teams covering the UK. Outside of work, Terry was involved with lots of social activities such a clay pigeon shooting. He played in a darts’ team and he loved playing golf.

His true passion was football and he was a devoted Arsenal fan. In recent years, he had started taking his grandson, Max, to watch Arsenal, of which he was very proud. Our heartfelt condolences to Janet, Terry’s wife of 40 years and their daughters Rachel and Sharon not forgetting his much-adored grandchildren.
