The heated pool is situated on the top of the beautiful art-deco behemoth, looking out across the iconic smokestacks and the London skyline.
“The design was developed from an original concept in conjunction with the client design team which incorporated world renowned architects and consultants,” explains Chris Lyon, Project Manager for Barr + Wray. “A detailed design process to support our client in developing a statement rooftop pools solution, befitting of the landmark location.” Work began on the project in mid 2019 and work completed in October 2022.
B+W, in conjunction with Berndorf Bäderbau, undertook the design, installation and commissioning of the bespoke stainless-steel pool whilst always ensuring the client teams design brief was fulfilled. “We recognised the requirement for a unique, exclusive pool concept with a very high degree of finish quality was reflected in the professionalism, expertise and approach of the client team and wider delivery partners.”
