Starting four years ago as an importer of Chinese hot tubs, Superior Spas have gone on to develop their own make of spas, built to their own bespoke specification. Making considerable quality improvements over the years, Superior is living up to its name, building up a large portfolio of both retail and trade customers.
At the start of this year, as part of a landmark deal with Hungarian based Wellis hot tubs, Superior confirmed that manufacturing will be moved to mainland Europe. At the same time, the Derbyshire based team is looking to extend its network of nationwide dealerships, plugging strategic geographic gaps and offering joint marketing including leads from its main website.
“We want to offer a high quality hot tub but to be placed into the low-mid range price categories,” explains Robert Carlin, Superior Spas managing director.
“We can offer merchandising support and most crucially, we offer quick delivery as we hold stock in the UK, with just three days shipping from the EU and just as vitally for some dealers, we offer delivery direct to customers.
“We have a number of distributors in the UK, our short term and long term goals are to establish a larger presence of dealers around the UK.”
Utilising the most modern manufacturing techniques, the Superior range of spas aim to offer strength as well as good looks. The sculptured soft curves, deep seats, and stretch out legroom of a Superior Spas offer more than just good ergonomics and style. The hot tubs also offer super quiet operation because the sound insulation is actually part of the shell – not just a sprayed on afterthought. Offering industry-leading insulation properties, the entire shell system insulates so reducing energy costs and putting money back in your pocket. One of the industry’s best shell warranties for years to come.
“Our Superior shells are ultimately biodegradable and hazard neutral,” explains Robert. “We are proud of our lead in producing genuinely clean, green products from Europe’s most modern hot tub factory.”
