Leading independent swimming tuition provider Swimming Nature, has been recognised for its smart learning programs and tracking systems at the Active Training Awards 2014.
The company scooped the ‘Innovative Concept of the Year’ award for its swimming lesson system, which is currently being implemented across 36 venues in Greater London and Edinburgh by over 80 swimming instructors.
The system ensures that all student progression information is logged and monitored every 48 hours and also includes proven motivation and development methods to help students’ development for all levels. Judges were particularly impressed by Swimming Nature’s innovative development and proactive approach to working with those in the industry to develop, test and implement the system.
Eduardo Ferré, founder and managing director of Swimming Nature commented: “We have made extensive investment in research and development to create systems that will not only motivate students to begin learning, but also encourage them to improve their techniques and continue swimming for longer.
“The technology provides a scalable solution for pool operators and individual instructors to help provide high quality swimming tuition, as well as improve business profitability for swim schools across the UK.”
He added: “At a time when statistics from the ASA show that 45 per cent of 7-11 year olds cannot swim a single length of an average pool, this award comes as validation of the hard work that we have undertaken, and demonstrates our commitment to lead a change in improved learning in the swimming industry.”
