This luxurious indoor pool recently took the title of Residential Indoor Pool of the Year at the prestigious UK Pool & Spa Awards.
The 13m x 5m concrete skimmer pool was designed and built, by Portrait Pools & Enclosures, for a private client in Wilmslow. The installation also included a spa pool and a bespoke custom-built sauna.
David Bland of Portrait Pools explains: “We were asked by the client to design and construct a luxurious steel-reinforced concrete swimming pool and sauna that really had the ‘wow’ factor.
“We met the client’s requirements by designing and creating a private leisure suite with luxurious finishes and top of the range facilities that really make this a bespoke project.” David adds: “The client picked his own choice colour blend for the mosaic tiles used in this project, which added a personal element and really made it a unique pool.” The pool is heated by a Heatstar Phoenix 3000 XF Super Plus environmental control unit and the water is purified by a Triogen T2 Ozone System, both specified by Portrait Pools.
