Sticking with its winning formula, the UK Pool & Spa Expo returns to the NEC in Birmingham in January promising to deliver an unmissable trade show, that brings together the whole of the UK wet leisure industry and associated sectors.
Now in its third year, the 2015 show is shaping up to be a truly international affair with visitors and exhibitors expected from countries across the globe including Hungary, the USA, Netherlands, China, Greece and Germany.
Claire Saunders, event director comments: “We were new to the industry, but we have run two successful shows and now it is time to take it up a notch. “The 2015 event focuses as much on its exhibitors and product displays as it does on networking opportunities, and so the visitors are just as important as the exhibitors.
“Last year’s visitor list included top personnel from Center Parcs, John Lewis, Crest Nicholson and AEW Architects to name just a few. Our VIP invitation list this year has been built on these foundations and will make for an even stronger ‘who’s who’ rundown for 2015.”
Located in the larger Hall 10 at the NEC, a bigger floor space means a bigger show and as well as returning favourites, there will also be some new additions.
One of the new features of this year’s Expo is a new Question Time slot as part of the Expo’s education seminar. With questions from the floor this is a chance to debate the strengths and weakness of the hot tub industry in the wake of the Trade Price Group imprisonments and the boost to hot tubs generally thanks to high profile programmes like Hot Tub Britain. The Question Time panel will feature key industry personnel on a distinguished panel, including Jonathan Bunn of Hydropool, Steve Hasenmeuller, of Marquis Spas and Christina Clarke of the Pool &Spa Company. Chaired by Pool and Spa Scene’s Christina Connor and taking place at 11am on Friday January 23, in the Seminar Theatre, within the central hub of the Expo, this is a debate that no-one involved in the spa industry will want to miss.
Maintenance, equipment and facilitator companies will be given the opportunity to occupy the lounge area on the second day, to meet with individuals from their target markets. Situated in the heart of the exhibition hall, the Central Hub is also new for 2015 and will feature a mix of catering, and exhibitor lounge, an open seminar auditorium and the Pool and Spa Scene magazine team.
Following the success of the New Product Zone at previous shows, many exhibitors will be using the UK Pool & Spa Expo as their primary showcase for a host of new products and technologies in the first quarter of 2015.
