New home but same winning formula…
They say success breeds success. What better example of that than the annual UK Pool & Spa Awards which continues to attract a growing following year–on–year. The popular contest that offers an unrivalled boost to businesses across the spa and hot tub sector, has attracted a record–breaking number of entries for its 2022 competition including many first–time entrants.
The winners across a vibrant array of categories will be announced on Thursday December 8th as the tried and tested format will move to the National Conference Centre in Birmingham for the very first time. Located off Junction 6 of the M42 motorway, the Conference Centre enjoys unrivalled road links just five minutes from Birmingham International Airport and within five minutes of 2,000 hotel beds.
The UK Pool & Spa Awards is the only competition open to the entire water leisure industry, regardless of trade association affiliation. “Winners are able to add the UK Pool & Spa Awards logo to their marketing material, an unrivalled recommendation for their projects, their people and the products they represent, comments Christina Connor, Managing Director of Waterland Media, the competition organisers.
“The UK Pool & Spa Awards accreditation is not just an endorsement of individual companies but helps them attract new customers and vitally, secure more sales.” The fundamental aim of the competition is to enable as many businesses as possible to reap the knock-on rewards. Competition entries receive public votes and points from specialist judges in each category before being assessed by an independent jury who have the toughest task of ratifying the results.
Selective categories such as Supplier of The Year and Special Achievement do not go out to public vote but are decided by the competition jury. Tickets are selling fast for the evening presentation which begins with an informal networking opportunity with the vital competition sponsors who make the event possible. Those sponsors are judges in their specific category and present the awards on the night.
“The UK Pool & Spa Awards has earned itself a not–to–be–missed reputation as a unique opportunity for the industry to come together to compare notes but most importantly to celebrate well deserved success,” says Christina. “The change of venue is giving us the opportunity to maximise the potential of getting together as an industry,” she continues.
“The event is not a black–tie do, on the contrary, we encourage people to promote their brands by wearing smart workwear to maximise the business marketing and networking potential.” Tickets to the UK Pool & Spa Awards on Thursday Decermber 8th are on sale now via the website at www. ukpoolandspaawards.co.uk.
