Swimming pool companies are being urged to flaunt their best assets this season, as the organisers of the UK Pool & Spa Awards seek to find the very best examples of residential pools that the industry has to offer.
Whether it’s a stylish subterranean new build, an outdoor pond conversion, or a luxury rooftop installation – the UK Pool & Spa Awards are the ideal platform from which to make a splash.
Founded in 2010, the independent UK Pool & Spa Awards are organised by Waterland Media, the publishers of Pool & Spa Scene, the market-leading magazine for the combined water leisure sectors.
“The awards highlight the achievements of the pool and spa sectors and promote the UK’s stand-out companies, projects, teams, people and products,” says Christina Connor, editor of Pool & Spa Scene.
“Within the residential section, we’re looking for unique and exceptional examples of pool construction and refurbishment, taking into consideration aesthetics as well as construction methods and safe practice.”
Christina adds: “If you have got a residential pool project to be proud of then we want to hear from you!”
The residential section in this year’s awards comprises of three categories:
• Residential Indoor Pool of the Year
• Residential Outdoor Pool of the Year
• Residential Refurbishment Project of the Year
The residential pools market is just one of the sectors being celebrated in this year’s UK Pool & Spa Awards. The categories span all sectors of water leisure including commercial pools, leisure operators, hot tubs and swim spas and are open to builders, designers, retailers, local authorities and other leisure-related organisations.
Past award winners have said how much they value the competition as an opportunity to raise the profile of their company both inside the industry and most importantly to their target customers.
This year’s awards presentation evening will be hosted at the brand new Vox Conference centre within Resorts World on the Birmingham NEC site. The ceremony is deliberately timed to coincide with the fourth edition of the UK Pool & Spa Expo which runs from Sunday to Tuesday November 22 to 24 inclusive in the Pavillion Hall at the NEC. Those wishing to take part can enter via the UK Pool & Spa Awards website. All entries must be submitted online by Monday 7 September and an entry fee of £25 plus VAT (£30 total) for each entry is payable via PayPal at time of entry submission.
Tickets for the business networking style prize-giving event are now available to book online. Tickets are priced at ÂŁ42.50 +VAT, which includes drinks on arrival, dinner and entertainment.
