James Lee, former Managing Director for Water Treatment Products, has joined the Paramount distribution team. Jim’s career started in the swimming pool industry back in the 1980’s. His experience led him to manage some of the largest commercial swimming pools in the South East and Yorkshire.
Included in his accolades, was the specifying of one of the very first National Lottery applications for a newly built commercial swimming pool which resulted in an award of £4M being granted. Having spent 13 years in commercial swimming pool management, Jim then pursued a new career in the residential swimming pool trade, joining Bartletts Water Chemistry in 1999.
It wasn’t long before Jim realised that this was his niche and where his speciality lay, joining Fi-Clor as Brand Manager then SIS Chemicals where he set up the Pro-Swim brand. He later moved on to SCP PoolCorp as Water Treatment Product Manager before finally joining Water Treatment Products as MD, Recreational Water in 2011.
Paramount’s Managing Director, Steve Martin, feels very fortunate to have acquired the services of such a high-profile candidate. “Jim’s wealth of knowledge, expertise and contacts within the pool industry is a great asset to the Paramount team,” he says. Jim’s primary focus will be to expand and source new dealers for the Aquamatic Safety Cover system and the new ‘Mr Perfect‘ Heat Pump from Aquark to be launched in 2024 along with other associated products.
