Njord’s Managing Director and Architect, Steve Jones benefits from 24 years of experience as a multi-award winning leisure facility specialist.
Project manager, Martin Stone offers vast experience of 38 years working on multi million pound projects. The team is already building a prestigious portfolio of pool projects already undertaken, alongside standard residential and commercial construction projects, ranging from £250k to £3m. “We offer a full in-house design and build solution to all projects, taking care of all architectural requirements, with ‘design-to-budget’ options offered from the outset,” says Steve.“We quite often offer the detailed design service upfront, so the client can get a feel for the company and the standard of our work ahead of committing to the construction phase of the project.”

Typical clients include a Lincolnshire business owner who wanted to provide a bespoke leisure facility for family use and relaxation. He had the plans drawn up initially by an Architect who did not specialise in the wet leisure industry. Njord took over the design, re-vamped and modernised it, as well as correctly incorporating the key elements for H+V and pool systems, and delivered the project from start to finish, of which the results speak for themselves.
Offering a strong visual impact, complete with technically sound implementation of the key aspects of a wet leisure facility – Njord delivered the project on budget with key specifications of a Roldeck cover, Calorex Delta and a focal feature of a Rigo Spa tiled spa. “We had a high water table to contend with,” shares Steve. “Other than this, we designed out all of the potential hurdles from the start, resulting in a smooth construction phase delivered on time and budget.”
